Jefferson Elementary School, in partnership with the community, will inspire students to dream, to give, and enjoy life through quality education.

Jefferson Elementary School is located in Jefferson City, Tennessee in the eastern part of the state. Set amidst rolling hills and mostly rural surroundings, it is one of the largest elementary schools in the Jefferson County school system. The original construction of the school was completed in 1958 with eight additional classrooms completed in 1996. The present facility includes forty-one classrooms, two administrative offices, media center, clinic, teachers'; workroom, cafeteria, gymnasium, conference room, and counselor's office. On the school campus are four developmentally appropriate playgrounds for the student body population. Two of the playgrounds are PTO/community built structures jointly maintained by the PTO and community civic groups. Jefferson Elementary also has access to the Jefferson Middle School athletic track.
